Working Together for Galveston is envisioned as an ongoing collaboration between the Galveston Housing Authority, the development team including McCormack Baron Salazar and Urban Strategies, the City of Galveston, and local community stakeholders, representatives, and other interested parties.
The goal for Working Together for Galveston is to define and achieve a vision for new housing and opportunities in the community, as designed by residents and stakeholders, that will result in revitalized, high-quality, mixed-income and sustainable neighborhoods that provide housing, economic and social opportunities for all residents and helps revitalize key disinvested and devastated areas of our island.
